The Course

Poulton Golf Club is a challenging 9 hole par 35 parkland course measuring 2858yards off the yellow tees. For club competitions, off the whites, several holes have 2 tee positions. The competition layout measures 5949yards

The course covers 48 acres of flat parkland terrain. The ponds and tidal stream which feeds the river Wyre are havens for wildlife, but as attractive as they are, they have no respect for the wayward drive or misplaced approach shot.

Course improvements continue to be made year on year, with 2 seasons of a 5 year plan already complete the course is already showing signs of great improvement. Along with improvements to the greens and tees, a tree planting scheme and bunker redevelopment are planned over the next couple of seasons.
