Poulton Golf Club has always been very proud at the number of junior golfers that started their golfing career at Poulton. This stems from the inclusive policy the members have in respect to junior golf. Past junior golfers from Poulton include several club professionals and many county players
Our team of Junior Organisers, lead by Peter Fairhurst, work very hard to organise weekly junior competitions at the club and away competitions and clubs around the region.
Our club Professional, John Greenwood, works closely with the juniors at the club delivering the YMG coaching syllabus – a nationally recognised coaching programme where juniors work through varies levels. Currently he is working with the English Golf Union toward achieving the highly prized Golf Mark award.
Please check back here soon to download the new junior hand book and new junior policies that will need to be completed and returned to the club before a junior is able to join.
Existing juniors will need to fill out these forms, signed by your parents or guardians and returned to the club. These forms should be live on this site around February and will need to be filled in and returned to John in the Pro-shop before you will be allowed to take part in any Club tournaments.
